EVE Videos
While I don't have any new website features to announce yet, our own banker Very Sneaky has been working on creating an archive of quality EVE videos in our new YouTube channel. We're hoping that you can help us find and classify lots of good EVE videos, both new and old, in order to make a guide to the best work that EVE 's video makers have to offer. We also try to contact original authors and provide summaries and links to forum threads and high-quality versions when possible, so if you see these missing, please let us know so we can improve this fun (and hopefully useful) idea.
Autodeposit, Website updates
It's been a week since the new website launch and the over 1000 new accounts that came with Alliance Tournament 8. Glad to have all of you new faces with us! At this point all outstanding issues with the new registration process should be resolved, and an automated account updater is in place for the few dozens accounts left that need to have some missing information filled in. This means if you keep getting redirected to the My Account page and prompted for updates, please update your info!
Also since we no longer allow multiple accounts attached to the same EVE Online character, and the Reset Password mailer doesn't work with invalid or spammy email domains (fake@email.com, someone@aol.com, etc), we're looking at implementing a password reset command via the EVE Online API. This, along with actually implementing those automated weekly freerolls you see advertised in the new rotator on the front page, are next on the agenda.
Update: Automated freerolls are now active. Automated announcements for them should also be in soon.
